Commute from HK
International Airport to the hotel/campus

There are multiple means of transportation for you to commute between the Hong Kong International Airport and the CUHK campus, where the conference venue is located.

Taxi

The trip from the airport to the CUHK campus is approximately 45 minutes with a fare of around HK$300. Most taxidrivers in Hong Kong understand some English. The following text (English and Chinese names of the host university)will come in handy:

By airport bus and taxi/MTR train

You can first take airport bus route number A41 from the airport to Shatin Station. The bus runs from 05:30 to 23:30 at20-minute intervals. The Shatin Central Bus Terminal is not the terminal stop for the bus, so ask the driver where to getoff or pay attention to the announcement. The bus ride takes 65–70 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The fare iscurrently HK$22.3 payable on boarding bus in exact change. Then, from Shatin, you can continue by:

*either Taxi: From Shatin Station, you can take a taxi to the University. The fare is about HK$50. It takes about 15 minutes.

*or MTR train (not recommended if you have bulk luggage)
Alternatively, from Shatin Station, you can take the train to the University Station (second stop from Shatin). The trainsrun every 5 to 10 minutes from 06:00 to 24:00. The train ride takes about 9 minutes. The fare is HK$4. Information on MTR service can be found at http://mtr.com.hk/en/customer/main/index.html. There are three exits at University Station amongst which two are connected to the CUHK campus (Exits A and C).
